"Jim is a nice enough guy personally but his hands were tied, by his own frank admission, to do anything to help resolve a homeowners claim pursuant to the May 8 tornado. He said corporate had prohibited him from being an advocate in homeowners claims as opposed to any auto claims that he cd help with. This lack of assistance forced me to have to deal with the jaded and inhumane adjusters myself. It took 4 months to resolve the roofing part of the claim, which again, I had to fight totally without representation. After 41 years of loyalty to State Farm in three states with a virtually claim free record, I have procured coverage with another carrier and will never return. State Farm as a whole has a reputation for denying roof claims. My post is not "sour grapes" but rather just a stating of the facts for others to be aware of."
